After 17 years of dancing together Andrej Volkov and Anastasiya Kravchenko terminated their successful partnership. They represented Russia in WDC federation. In April this year Andrej and Anastasiya were in the final of WDC European Professional Latin Championships. In 2013 they were 2nd in Under21 Balloom in Blackpool and later that year at the International Championships. See more results.

They wrote:

We started dancing together at the age of 6 years old, and have spent the last 17 years growing and maturing together in such a blessed road filled with multiple discoveries and memories.

Sometimes it happens in life that people grow different ways, their views and priorities change, and what fitted together once perfectly - just isn't right anymore. We both realize that our ideas and plans for the future do not match any longer and now in we have to let each other go. We both believe that as one door closes - another opens. We are positively looking at the future. We would like to thank both of our families who always support us during our dancing career. Without them we wouldn't be who we are. We would like to thank our main teacher - Irina Maksimova, who has always been with us, since our childhood until this moment. Irina did for us EVERYTHING, that we need for improving our dancing, she put in our couple so much energy and love, that we just cannot describe in words how much this person means to us, and how we love her. We are the happiest persons in the world, because we have this amazing teacher, who became our "Dancing Mama". Without her we wouldn't be who we are.

We would also like to express our gratitude to our teachers all over the world - Anna & Alex Kolodkin , Maxim Kotlov, Slava Krichmarev, Grigory Blinnikov, Anne & Richard Gleave, Janet Gleave, Marcus Hilton & Karen Hilton, Mirko Gozzoli, Edita Daniute, Snieguole Wood, Kenny & Marion Welsh, Christopher Hawkins, Timothy Howson. Thank you all for believing in us, and supporting us all the way through. Thank you for always giving us courage when we were at our weak and being there for us. Anastasiya decided to finish her competitive career, and focus on family and teaching. Andrej is looking for new partner, and looking forward to get back on the floor as soon as possible.
